Today is 5th of September and at this day we celebrate teachers day every year with lots of joy, happiness and enthusiasm. Actually 5th of September is the birth anniversary of the Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, who was a great scholar and teacher. This day is celebrated as a teachers day all over the India to pay honor to the teachers for their valuable contribution to the society and country by imparting knowledge and shaping the career of students.
Teachers day is celebrated as a special event in many countries at different dates.The aim of celebrating this event in all countries is generally to pay honor to the teachers and admire all the achievements in the field of education and their precious contributions towards the society and country.
What is the role of teachers in our life. Why we need some person who can teach us , guide us and shows the pathways of better life.
India has got a rich heritage of great teachers,
Since Vedic period to till date many persons had made their impact on society, like Ved vyasa, Valmiki, Gautam Buddha, Chankaya, Dronacharaya, Swami Ramkrishna Paramahansa, Acharya Ravindranath Tagore, Swami Vivekanand, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, Savitribai Phule, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Dr. sarvapalli Radhakrishnana, Dr. APJ Abdul kalam Azad and so on.
Teacher play very important role in everybody 's life. Teachers are like back bone of our society. They play a great role in building up the characters of students and shape them to become an ideal citizens of India.
Teachers are great than the parents, because Parents give birth to a child whereas teachers shape his/her character and make future bright. . They are the source of inspiration to us which help us to go ahead and get success. They motivate us towards study by giving examples of great personalities all over the world. They prepare us to tackle any bad situation of the life through the knowledge and patience.
Teachers generally become a person with proper vision, knowledge and experience. Teaching profession is a profession of great responsibility than any other jobs. There are many precious roles of teachers in education of students, society and country.
The growth and development of the people, society and country is solely depend on the quality of education which can be given by a good teacher. There were many ideal teachers in India who have set themselves as role models for the upcoming teachers.
In this modern era all the persons are students for lifetime . No man is perfect. They should always try to learn from everyone. So everybody should identify their teachers in the journey of life and salute them .
